So I've been visting here less and less over the years and actually forgot about it for a bit

I've considerd de-activating this account due to my lack of up-dating skills and how flacky I am, however decided to leave it active for the time being in an attempt to modivate me to be more active

Expo and Ayacon

Hope everyone's been keeping well ^^
Life is busy as standard really, lots happening – some good and some not good but hay ho~ that's life.
The first event of the year for me was May expo in London. I had a nice time, even tho I was extremely stressed out with my cosplay. But it was great to see people I don't often get to see and hang out with friends again. As for the event itself and its new rule changes I've pretty much gone off it all. I'll only be attending for one day in October when all the new rules are being applied so I will hold off my full judgment until then and then make the decision on if I'll be attending in 2014. Anyways moving on, I cosplayed Yogi from Karneval on Friday and Saturday and Ion Fortuna from Trinity Blood on the Sunday. I'll put up photos shortly~ Friday was an amazing relaxing day while Sat and Sunday was a lot more hectic, I Still have bruised toes from Ions boots t_t But its put me in the mood for Ayacon which is coming up in August ^^ Saying that I've only just today sat and made my mind up fully on my cosplay plans for it….. the event is only like 2 or so months away t_t need to sort all orders and resources out this weekend and get start by the end of the month on everything, but I have so much going on I don't really see this happening. On top of that my friends managed to talk me into trying to do Shingeki no Kyojin cosplay for Hyper Japan which is next month! I don't even know whats happening any more D8
My plans for Ayacon are~
Thursday ~ Husky!Kuroko – Kuroko no Basuke
Friday ~ Loukas – Toxic + Aoba – DRAMAtical Murder (that may turn Fem!Aoba)
Saturday ~ Anri – Adekan + Waiter!Konoe – Lamento
Sunday ~ Cleaning!Levi/Rivaille – Shingeki no Kyojin
Sunday and Saturday are pretty much set, just Fridays plans are subject to change as I may not be able to complete Loukas in time, or switch it to Shiro's pom pom design from Adekan depending on confidence. If that all fails it'll be back on with Ion! –and I shall bake in that heat once more!- All my plans are alone ones~ no groups and no partners this time around. I'm a little sad to not have any cosplay partners for this event but I guess its my own fault for leaving my planning so late I would of loved a Chiral Café group even if it was just for a shoot somehow, and a masquerade partner. Lol that's what you get for leaving stuff till late~ anyways I have to go back to work nowz 8(

April update
Its already been so long since I last updated here >< sorry about that.
To those who may be wondering whats happened, I've de-activated my facebook for awhile to have a break from it. Alot is happening and I just need time away from it to sort stuff out. I will probaly be back before expo happens so no worrys (end of May).
Also one of my May projects is taking up so much of my time right now I feel like I've even lost my social life v_v lol but as the saying goes 'you suffer for your art'.
My plans for expo will possably be changing now anyway, before I had it lined up as Friday - Kuroko from KuroBas and Sat - Shiros Autum umbrella from Adekan but I'm probaly going to have to drop Shiro now due to fact of travile and prop size's. My Sunday cosplay will consised of some fragile bits and so between that and a giant unbrella/ headdress the lagistics of the London underground dose not seem do'able. So instead I may do a last min change to Ai from Utapri, but we will see. If I do change it, it'll probaly be the week before the acutal event
(Gotta love those last min panic projects!)Life outside of cosplay has been pretty much all or nothing as of late. One min I'm extremly busy and the next I'm sat twiddling my thumbs. But cant complain as everyone is more or less in good health ^^

New journal for a new year~
I'm not doing new years resolutions this year as I never manage to keep them. Instead I simply hope to have an amazing and healthy 2013 and to achieve one or two things ^^ So I wish the same for everyone equally in 2013
I apologise for photo lags and the fact I've really neglected my DA over the recent year, I'm the worlds worst at procrastination and distractions >< I'll be trying to have a sort out of last years photo shoots to update here soon so apologise again should there be a sudden photo increase. I've been thinking about possibly doing a facebook page for my cosplays like soooo many people I know who have already. It would be alot more active and easier for me to update and keep track of. Yet I honesty don't feel I'm that good of a cosplayer to warrant my own page. I also worry it would be seen the wrong way, as I do not cosplay for fans or recognition, but for fun and pride of creating something unique.
Actually something on facebook caught my attention recently and it made me realise just how much the face of UK cosplay has changed. Everyone cosplays for there own reasons, that is completely each individuals provocative. Weather it's for fun, recognition, competition or achievement. I've never spoken out on my personal views, but I must say I find it disgusting when others try to push there own options down peoples throats. At the end of the day cosplay is a hobby, unless you become one of the top who do it professionally that is all it will ever be. Don't try and force people to be competitive with there hobby when they clearly don't want to.
Anywayz~ I have a few shoots booked, Scotland trip is booked along with May expo and Ayacon. Its looking like it shall be a bit of a down year for cons for me, and I'll be slowing up on the cosplays this year too as I still have a back log of cosplays with no shoots xD That being said the first few projects are slowly getting started~
